The CATL division is now accepting symposium proposals for the Fall 2026 meeting! This meeting will be held in Chicago, IL from August 23-27, 2026. We welcome proposals on all fundamental and applied topics in thermal, electrochemical, photochemical, biochemical, and plasma catalysis spanning homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions. Please note that starting with the 2025 Fall meeting ACS shortened the program by one day (programming starts Monday), and the Fall 2026 meeting will be the same.

If you are interested in organizing a symposium, please fill out the google form here:

We will consider any proposals received by Tuesday November 25th, 2025.

Please send any questions you have to the Fall Program Chair, Chris Paolucci at cp9wx@virginia.edu. Members who have never organized a symposium before should not be afraid to propose one: we will give you guidance, and it is an opportunity for you to see more research within your field and to increase your visibility!
